The 2024 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship is the penultimate event on the DP World Tour schedule. The field of 70 players includes stars such as Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry and Tommy Fleetwood.
However, it is Paul Waring who has taken the lead of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship after two rounds. He shot the course record with a score of 11 under, to finish the two days at a total of 19 under par. He is followed by Thorbjørn Olesen, Tommy Fleetwood, Niklas Norgaard Moller and Johannes Veerman, who sit five shots behind him.
LIV Golf's Tyrrell Hatton is in T6, alongside the likes of Laurie Canter with a score of 12 under par. For round 3 of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, McIlroy will tee if off alongside Yannik Paul and Richard Mansell at 2am ET.
