3x PGA Tour winner Scott Stallings has become a caddie at the PGA Tour Q-school qualifying. Stallings last appeared at the Texas Children's Houston Open, where he couldn't complete the tournament and had to withdraw due to a left shoulder injury. Following that, he underwent left bicep and labrum surgeries.
The golfer is doing better presently and hopes to begin chipping in January and practice till April. By the next fall, he plans to return to the Tour. As he plans his professional career, Stallings also invested time in helping out the University of Tennessee golf program. He told Golfweek that the little detour was refreshing for him.
“I’ve been playing the Tour for the last 14 years so it’s been a nice break,” said Scott Stallings.
