The second round of the WWT Championship 2024 concluded with Nico Echavarria firing a low 9-under 63 to take a joint one-shot lead after 36 holes. He moved up 11 spots on Friday to tie with Max Greyserman, who carded a 64 to reach an aggregate of 12-under.
After the conclusion of the second day’s play at El Cardonal at Diamante, the cutline was set at 2-under, with 69 players making it to the weekend. Chad Ramey, who shot 76 in the opener, carded a 66 to squeeze inside the cutline.
