Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo
Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho is close to securing the services of Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr teammate Anderson Talisca in January, according to acclaimed journalist Fabrizio Romano. The Brazilian forward has played second fiddle to the 39-year-old ever since he arrived at the Saudi club in December 2022.
Talisca has still managed to impress, registering eight goals from 19 games across competitions this season. The 30-year-old's contract with Al-Nassr expires in 2026 and he has now decided to leave for a new adventure.
Jose Mourinho is looking to add more firepower to his attack at the turn of the year. Fenerbahce are second in the Super Lig after 16 games, five points behind leaders Galatasaray, who have a game in hand.
The Portuguese manager is plotting to bridge the gap in the second half of the season and believes Talisca can help him do the job. Fenerbahce were briefly linked with Cristiano Ronaldo in the past couple of months, but Romano has already rubbished those claims.
