Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in Chelsea's Christopher Nkunku
Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku who has also been linked with a move to Manchester United in the January transfer window. The France international is rumoured to be unhappy at Chelsea where he has had to play a second fiddle role this season.
The interest of Manchester United in Nkunku has been reported for months, particularly since the arrival of Ruben Amorim. A report from CaughtOffside has claimed that Arsenal are prepared to join the race for the former RB Leipzig man, who is the Blues' top scorer this season.
Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca has struggled to give Nkunku regular minutes in his preferred position, instead playing the Frenchman as backup to Nicolas Jackson, particularly in the Carabao Cup and Europa Conference League. Christopher Nkunku has found the net 12 times across all competitions for the Blues this season. The bulk of his goals have come in Europe's third tier competition and the Carabao Cup against lower division opposition, and he has just two Premier League goals.
