Arsenal have reportedly decided to sanction a permanent exit from the club for on-loan forward Reiss Nelson once the summer window opens. The Hale End graduate struggled to nail down a regular berth at the Emirates Stadium before heading out on loan to Fulham in the summer.
Regarded as one of the brightest prospects from the Arsenal academy in his teenage years, Nelson made his debut for the club in the 2017-18 season aged just 17. The skillful winger saw his progression suffer over the years due to a number of injury problems, which culminated in him leaving the club for a third loan spell in the summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have decided to move on from Reiss Nelson, regardless of his loan spell at Craven Cottage. The 25-year-old has scored two goals in 13 appearances for the Cottagers this season but has no future back at his parent club.
