Barcelona are reportedly set to make a surprise move to sign Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku in 2025. The Frenchman is reportedly unhappy with his lack of playtime at Stanford Bridge and could be keen on the move.
Christopher Nkunku joined Chelsea last summer from RB Leipzig in 2023 on a six-year deal valid until 2029. The Frenchman has played 1,008 minutes for the Blues over 25 appearances across competitions this season, recording 12 goals and four assists. Despite his solid impact, he has often been second fiddle to Nicolas Jackson in the attack. The 27-year-old is reportedly keen on seeking a more prominent role this summer, with Barcelona monitoring the situation.
According to SPORT, Christopher Nkunku's agent, Pini Zahavi, has offered the attacker to Barcelona. The France international is reportedly also willing to take a pay cut to secure a move to the Camp Nou this summer. Given Barca's poor financial situation, Nkunku's intentions could further facilitate the potential move.
