As per reports, Barcelona are waiting for superstar forward Robert Lewandowski to make a definite decision about his future with the Catalan giants. According to SPORT (via Barca Universal), the club are looking to determine if the 36-year-old should get a contract renewal, but the report revealed that the decision lies with Lewandowski.
In the summer of 2022, the Polish marksman joined the club from Bayern Munich, where he had become one of the greatest players in German football history. He has continued his remarkable run of goalscoring form, albeit at a somewhat lower level, scoring 82 goals and providing 19 assists in 119 games for Barca.
Now 36 years old, his form seems to have dipped. He enjoyed a stunning run in his first 11 La Liga games this season, scoring 14 goals in that period. However, he has scored just twice in his last seven league games, raising questions about his potential continuity with the Catalan giants.
