The Boston Bruins unveiled a new 3,500-pound bronze statue outside TD Garden on Saturday to commemorate the franchise's 100th anniversary.
The statue, depicting a bear, which is the club's oldest brand symbol, was revealed on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the Bruins' first NHL game on Dec. 1, 1924.
