When the 2024 NFL season began, many assumed that Breece Hall and the Jets would be making a run for the playoffs in Week 14. The running back was a phenomenal asset in the offensive backfield, they had a future Hall-of-Fame quarterback on their roster, and their defense was among the best in the league.
Instead, New York enters this week with a 3-9 record. While they are not theoretically out of postseason contention yet, it is safe to say that they will not be playing after the regular season. Much of that is down to Aaron Rodgers' performances throughout the season which have left much to be desired. But as is the case with most losing franchises, Breece Hall and others have not covered themselves in glory either.
