Bristol City and Portsmouth square off in round 24 of the EFL Championship on Sunday
Bristol City and Portsmouth take to the pitch for the last time in 2024 when they square off at the Ashton Gate Stadium on Sunday. The Robins head into the weekend unbeaten in their last three home games, picking up two wins and one draw, and will be looking to close out the year on a high.
Scott Twine grabbed the headlines for Bristol City on Boxing Day as he netted the only goal of the game to hand them a 1-0 victory over Luton Town at the Ashton Gate Stadium.
Before that, the Robins were on a four-game winless run, losing twice and claiming two draws since the start of December. Bristol City have picked up seven wins and nine draws from their 23 Championship games to sit 11th in the table, level on points with 10th-placed Swansea City.
