“Bubba asked like 8 or 9 guys” – When Scottie Scheffler took a hilarious jibe at his 2021 Zurich Classic teammate

Scottie Scheffler took a sarcastic jab at Bubba Watson during the 2021 Zurich Classic. Watson played at the 2021 Zurich Classic with Scheffler and had his last outing at the event in 2022 with Harold Varner III. Following that, he made the switch to LIV Golf and got banned from PGA Tour events.

In an old PGA Tour video from the 2021 Zurich Classic press conference, Scheffler passed a sarcastic comment on Watson when the World No. 1 was asked about how he chose his playing partner.

“Bubba asked like eight or nine guys and they all said no and he waited for me. And then I waited about four or five days, texted a few guys and no one responded. So I said yes," Scottie Scheffler said.
