MLB analyst Greg Amsinger was not joking as he said that the addition of another potential Japanese arm in Roki Sasaki could elevate the LA Dodgers' starting rotation to the best in MLB history. The Dodgers are already stacked with several All-Star caliber starting arms, with their latest addition being Blake Snell, who signed a five-year, $182 million deal in November.
The Dodgers are among the front runners to sign Sasaki as an international free agent. Many scouts consider the NPB star to be the best in the business, despite him never having pitched in the majors. During Saturday's appearance on MLB Network, Amsinger praised Dodgers rotation and hailed them as the best if they are able to land Sasaki.
"If he lands in Los Angeles and joins Ohtani and Yamamoto, and they already have Glasnow and Blake Snell, that is by far the best rotation in all of baseball."
