Justin Thomas opened up about the Texas vs. Georgia SEC title game, calling it a "lose-lose" event. The American golfer is a big fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. However, his favorite team could not make it to the SEC title game, which will take place on Saturday, December 7. The Texas Longhorns will compete against the Georgia Bulldogs in the finale.
Meanwhile, this week, Justin Thomas is playing at the ongoing Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas. However, he is not excited about the SEC title game as his favorite team is missing from the tournament.
Speaking of the SEC title game, the American golfer spoke about how he couldn't decide whom to support. He said (via Golf Week):
“My hate? Well, I don’t really like Texas, either. I’m kind of in a lose-lose in that game, I don’t know who I want to win. I mean, it’s good for the conference. I think Texas comes in in their first year and I think they’re one of the best teams in the country. Yeah, I don’t know. I’m rooting for a tie maybe.”
