Even at 38, Chris Martin has continued to prove that age is only a number, with him getting better with time. Last season with the Boston Red Sox, Martin was yet again an effective weapon out of the bullpen, posting a 3-1 record with a 3.45 ERA and 50 strikeouts over 44.1 innings of work.
While Martin might only have a few years left before he decides to hang up shoes, he could make an impact out of the bullpen for nearly any club in the Majors. The fact that Martin has spent the majority of his career outside of a closing role could make him more attractive to teams.
