Red Bull boss Christian Horner has shared an update on rumors about Carlos Sainz possibly replacing Sergio Perez at the team and said the Spaniard is not in contention for a seat with the team. There has been a lot of chatter when it comes to the Mexican and his future within the team.
The driver's performances have not been up to the mark and have opened the door for others. Those other drivers include the likes of Liam Lawson and Franco Colapinto, who have been in the news lately.
Red Bull boss Horner did create a bit of buzz during the race weekend in Brazil when he visited the Williams motorhome. He had a meeting with the team principal, James Vowles during the weekend, and at the time it was rumored that the conversation was for a possible signing of Colapinto.
