Clayton Kershaw became a free agent at the end of the season, but former Dodgers teammate Tyler Glasnow is confident he will re-sign with the team. The 36-year-old has been one of the best pitchers in the game for more than a decade and is now in the twilight of his career.
On "Chris Rose Rotation," Glasnow said Kershaw would return to the team despite declining his $10 million player option for 2025 (35:00 onwards):
"He is so much more than just a starting pitcher on the team," Glasnow said when asked why he felt Kershaw would return. "He's been there for so long, he's almost ingrained into the fabric of the Dodgers. He is such a huge clubhouse presence, his reach goes beyond baseball for sure."
