Colorado Avalanche coach Jared Bednar reflected on his team's 5-3 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena on Thursday.

He noted that the team struggled with puck movement and did not handle the Hurricanes' pressure effectively. Bednar said after the game:

"I thought we were sometimes trying to make the most difficult pass ... The only line that seemed like they were able to do that was the MacKinnon line, you know, that I thought they were consistently working the puck up the ice and creating some chance."
