Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy gets honest on extent of CeeDee Lamb’s injury

As per Jon Machota, who covers Dallas Cowboys for The Athletic, head coach Mike McCarthy confirmed that star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb will miss the team’s final two games against the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders due to a shoulder injury. The Cowboys are officially out of the postseason.

Speaking on 105.3 The Fan, McCarthy revealed that the extent of Lamb’s injury was more severe than initially thought after recent scans and examinations.

"The risk is too high to play this week," McCarthy said. "Even if we were in Week 3, this would probably be the same decision. It's important for him to shut it down and start rehabbing."
