Cowboys' Jerry Jones remains tight-lipped to questions about HC Mike McCarthy's future
Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy have been tied at the hip for the duration of the 2020s. However, after nearly half a decade together, the Cowboys head coach is down to the last dregs of his deal with the team. As the time winds down on the contract, McCarthy's team appears to be growing stronger, but will it be enough?
Jones was asked for an update on his feelings on the Cowboys head coach's new contract following their Sunday Night Football victory over Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per The Athletic. Jones said:
“Just so we’re clear, all I can say is what good of a job he’s doing. I don’t have thoughts that I would share as to anything about what we do with our days after we’re through playing this year. I don’t have anything I would share about that.”
