The Cowboys trio of Micah Parsons, CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott were at the center of a lot of buzz ahead of the start of the 2024 season. CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott got the contract extension they were looking for.
In fact, Dak became the highest-paid player in the history of the NFL, only to miss the majority of the 2024 season due to a hamstring injury. Micah Parsons did not get his big payday, but he could still do so this coming offseason.
On Thursday, Parsons stated his desire to get a deal done with the Cowboys.
"I'm going to try and work with them as much as possible to help them attack free agency," Parsons said Thursday per ESPN. "I want to be back with this team. This offseason, I want to be here. I want to get these guys right. I want to take big steps, so hopefully it can be done sooner than later so we can attack the offseason."
