Delta Airlines has agreed to pay compensation after a flyer complained about his golf bag being destroyed on a flight. The strange incident has been making waves on the internet.
John Andre was traveling from Atlanta to Fort Myers, Florida when he had the unpleasant incident with Delta Airlines. His golf bag was reportedly destroyed during the journey, prompting him to file the claim.
In an interview with WKRC TV, Andre addressed the incident and said that the airline had agreed to pay $4,000 in compensation. Speaking of the incident, the man reported that the flight officials had "dragged" his golf bag, which then "caught fire," destroying his clubs. He said (via Golfweek):
