The Philadelphia Flyers succumbed to a 4-2 defeat against Utah Hockey Club on Sunday night at Wells Fargo Center. This extended their winless streak to three games (0-2-1) after going 3-0-1 in their previous four. Despite leading in shot attempts early, the Flyers struggled with turnovers and discipline during the game.
Head coach John Tortorella shared his frustration after the game, particularly about a turnover in the third period from Morgan Frost that led to the game-winning shorthanded goal by Utah's Kevin Stenlund. Tortorella said:
"That sucks. I mean, he won't do that again the rest of his career."
However, the coach also acknowledged the positives in Frost's overall play during the game, mentioning that the line was performing well and that he had no issues with Frost's effort.
