Former F1 team boss Guenther Steiner shared that Adrian Newey would be of great help to Aston Martin as he might attract even more talent to the team. The ace designer surprised everyone early in the year when he announced he was leaving Red Bull and not joining Ferrari.
The designer is now a shareholder of Aston Martin and will lead the technical team once he takes over in 2025. The Silverstone-based team owned by Lawrence Stroll has been under the spotlight for the last year or so because of the kind of investment the billionaire has made in the team.
Newey is looked at as one of the final pieces of the jigsaw puzzle for Aston Martin, as the squad aims to be in title contention in 2026. Former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner felt that apart from the designer's skills, his ability to attract good personnel to Aston Martin would be fruitful to the team.
