On Monday, starting pitcher Sean Manaea agreed to continue his stint with the New York Mets. After entering free agency after the end of the 2024 season, he reportedly agreed to a three-year, $75 million contract with the Mets.
Just like the players on the field, it appears their partners are also quite a tight-knit unit. Superstar Francisco Lindor's wife, Katia Reguero, shared a post about Manaea's decision to stay at Citi Field, also tagging his wife, Talat Mirmalek, on Instagram.
"Merry Christmas 🎄🙌🏽❤️ @tataloojoon93" Katia Reguero captioned her Instagram story.

For the Mets, retaining Manaea has the makings of a great piece of business. The 32-year-old finished the regular season with a 12-6 record, along with a 3.47 ERA and 184 total strikeouts. He was a key part of skipper Carlos Mendoza's pitching staff throughout a historic 2024 campaign, as the Mets made it to the NLCS for the first time since 2015.
