Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks took on the Atlanta Hawks in the semi-finals of the NBA Cup on Saturday. The Bucks are now one step closer to winning the in-season tournament as they beat the Hawks 110-102.
Each player on the team that wins the NBA Cup will receive a prize of $514,971. While Milwaukee has every reason to celebrate being one step closer to this milestone, the Greek Freak who posted a double-double in the win appeared to be locked in for the NBA Cup finals and the rest of the season. Antetokounmpo channeled his inner Kobe Bryant in his post-game comments.
"We've changed our season around," Antetokounmpo said. "But we got to keep going. The job's not done, the job's not done so far. We have 55 games left. So we just got to keep playing the game and hopefully, we can keep getting better."
