On Friday, news broke of second baseman Gleyber Torres signing with the Detroit Tigers. Per sources, Torres and the Tigers have agreed to a one-year, $15 million deal.

Torres had a decent 2024 with the Yankees, finishing the regular season with a .257 batting average, 15 home runs and 63 RBIs, winning the AL East division title. After all the formalities for the move were done and dusted, Torres took to Instagram to post a video on Friday of memorable moments from his time in the Bronx, along with a heartfelt message of thanks to the organization, coaches, players and fans.

"Thank you. The Yankees were my family since 2016. A simple boy from Venezuela with great aspirations to play in the most epic city in the world, the Yankees gave me all the love and support I needed to achieve my childhood dream. Wearing pinstripes was an honor for me and my family," part of Gleyber Torres' Instagram post.
