Gregg Popovich has not been with the San Antonio Spurs since November. The legendary coach was sidelined before the Spurs's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Nov. 2.
Over a month after being abruptly sidelined for health reasons, Popovich finally released a statement addressed to his well-wishers. The Spurs posted it on their X (formerly Twitter) handle, and Pop wrote that he and his family were thankful for their support during this difficult time.
The five-time NBA champion coach hilariously added that he had been so uncoachable for the doctors helping him rehab that even they wanted him to recover as soon as possible.
