New York Islanders coach Patrick Roy expressed frustration after the 5-3 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday. A key moment came in the second period when Alexander Romanov’s penalty for delaying the game led to a five-on-three advantage.
The Blackhawks capitalized, with Teuvo Teravainen scoring to make it 3-2 instead of the Islanders taking the lead.
"It's s a 2-2 game. We throw a puck in the stands and give them a five-on-three. There’s a mistake that you’re allowed to make, but there’s some that you cannot, and it will cost you at some point, and they took a 3-2 lead, instead of us going 3-2," Roy rued.
