New York Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette did not mince words following his team's 5-1 loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday, the Rangers' 9th defeat in their last 12 games. The loss drops the Rangers' record to 15-13-1 on the season.

Laviolette expressed frustration with his team's poor start to the game, saying:

"It's frustrating, it's a bad start to a game like that in our building, it's bad, you know what I mean, it was a bad start. Right from the very beginning, just the puck movement, the speed in which we were playing, the strides completely different from where we were a game ago.”
