“He cost us three points today”, “Southampton level player” – Fans blame Chelsea star for 0-0 result against Everton

Chelsea fans have taken to social media to blame Blues' forward Nicolas Jackson for their 0-0 draw against Everton at Goodison Park today (December 22). Both sides had big chances to potentially open the scoring on the day but neither could as they ended up sharing the points.

Nicolas Jackson particularly had two major chances to score for the Blues. In the 26th minute, a driven low cross from Cole Palmer was met by the Senegal international, but his shot was saved by the goalkeeper. Only four minutes later (32'), a corner from Enzo Fernandez found Jackson at the far post, but he hit the post from point-blank range.

Those two big chances could have given Chelsea all three points had they found the back of the net and the fans took notice of this. They took to X to slam the forward with comments like these:
