“He lacks a little bit of confidence” – Ruben Amorim says he will help struggling Manchester United star become a ‘better player’

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has claimed that he would help Antony to become a better player. This comes after the Brazilian has been struggling in attack this season.

Antony’s inconsistency has also moved him down the pecking order in the right-wing as Amad Diallo is presently ahead of him.

While speaking in a press conference Amorim was asked about Antony. He said (via Centredevils):

"He needs more confidence. If you remember the Antony in Ajax – he lacks a little bit of confidence to go one against one. He will improve... He just has to do that, to work really hard and I will help him to be a better player."
