Holstein Kiel and Augsburg face off in German Bundesliga on Saturday
Holstein Kiel and Augsburg return to action in the German Bundesliga when they lock horns at Holstein-Stadion on Saturday. Marcel Rapp’s men have lost their most recent five games and will head into the weekend looking to stop the rot.
Holstein Kiel were left empty-handed yet again as they fell to a 4-1 hammering at the hands of Borussia Monchengladbach last Saturday. Rapp’s side have now lost five back-to-back matches in the league, conceding 14 goals and scoring three since a 1-0 victory over Heidenheim on November 2.
Having gained promotion from the 2. Bundesliga last term, Holstein Kiel have picked up five points from their 14 league games to sit bottom but one in the table, just two points above last-placed Bochum.
