Ian Poulter recently commented on the performance of Sam Horsfield on the Inside The Ropes podcast by the Majesticks GC on December 1, 2024. The veteran golfer spoke about his compatriot's skills and how talented he was even at a very young age.
The team posted an update on X (previously Twitter) on December 04, 2024 featuring a short clip from the episode. In the video, the LIV Golfer was seen praising the now 28-year-old's skills from when he was aged 13. While talking about Horsfield, Poulter revealed what happened on the course that blew him away:
"I've known Sam since he was 13. So for 14 years I've played golf with him. Terry, my caddie said to me, "There's a kid I want you to play golf with. He's awesome. So I'm like yeah - bring him over let's have a game.
