On Saturday, December 8, Joaquin Niemann won the PIF Saudi International 2024 in a playoff against Caleb Surratt and Cam Smith. He carded a 67 in the final round, and a bogey on the 18th hole forced the playoff. A birdie on the second playoff hole earned him a paycheck of $1 million.
For Niemann, 2024 was a memorable season in terms of both performance and earnings. He won two titles during the LIV Golf season and finished second in the individual season-long championship. This incredible season helped him earn over $27 million, including a $12 million bonus.
Niemann also played two events on the Asian Tour, recording a T3 finish in Oman in addition to his win at Saudi this week. He earned a total of $1,126,000 on the tour. Besides, he played four events on the DP World Tour this year and earned around $700,000.
