On Sunday, November 3, Nelly Korda clinched her first-ever LPGA Player of the Year award for her outstanding performance this season. She became only the third player, after Beth Daniel and Annika Sorenstam, to have won 6+ titles, a Solheim Cup, and Player of the Year in the same season.
Korda had an incredible run this season, winning six titles, with five of them coming back-to-back in consecutive starts. She played 14 events this season and made 11 cuts. Nine of these were top-10 finishes, with six resulting in wins and one in a runner-up finish.
Thanks to her remarkable season, Nelly Korda earned a total of $3.7 million. Her biggest paycheck came from the Chevron Championship, where she earned $1.2 million. She earned $594,759 for her T2 finish at the AIG Women's Open, which was a higher paycheck than any of her other five wins.
