Lando Norris recalled his hair-raising moment while leading the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix where he almost hit the wall after locking up his tires. He reported damage on the front wing but the team revealed that it was not serious.
The McLaren driver won his third F1 race as he converted his pole position to victory in Singapore. He led the Grand Prix after an excellent start over his championship rival Max Verstappen and kept increasing the gap. While his race went seemingly perfectly, there was a close moment when he locked his tire up, and almost ended up hitting the wall. At this point, he had a 26-second lead over Verstappen, just enough for a free pit stop.
