Back in 2019, Giannis Antetokounmpo walked out of a postgame news conference after Malika Andrews asked both him and Khris Middleton a question following a playoff elimination. At the time, Antetokounmpo and the Bucks had just given up four straight games to lose the Eastern Conference Finals.
While speaking on the most recent episode of Thanasis Antetokounmpo's "Thanalysis" show, the Greek Freak joked about not getting an invite to Andrews' wedding. While doing so, he opened up on the viral press conference moment from the playoffs
Antetokounmpo said he didn't specifically walk out because of Andrews, and the two are on good terms now. Despite that, Antetokounmpo didn't get an invite to her wedding like Andrews promised.
"I like Malika, whenever I see her she's fine. She didn't invite me to the wedding though. She told me she's going to invite me to the wedding, she didn't invite me to the wedding. ... They said they were going to invite me to the wedding they didn't, I didn't get an invitation. I didn't get an invitation."
