Former World No.1 Jason Day recently revealed his real reason for not joining LIV Golf. Over the last three years, dozens of players from different golf series around the world have signed up with the Saudi-backed LIV Golf.
Australian golfer Jason Day, who is preparing to play on home soil for the Australian PGA Championship, recently made a shocking revelation that he did not get a chance to talk to LIV Golf about a deal to join the circuit, as they were not interested in having him. In an interview with Code Sports Australia, the PGA Tour player said (via Golf Digest):
"I didn’t knock it back. What happened was, it was a business move to just go in and explore the potential of what would happen. I said [to my agent], ‘No worries, I’m happy with where I’m at, but it’s always nice to know.’ And they [LIV Golf] said, ‘We love Jason, but he’s too injured; he just gets too many injuries.’
