During the 2019 season, Aaron Boone's future with the New York Yankees was up in the air. The club was coming off an NLDS loss in 2018 to their rivals, the Boston Red Sox, which stung.
Things got especially hot for the manager when the Bronx Bombers struggled down the stretch in 2019. Boone could not find a consistent lineup throughout the year, posting 146 different combinations in 153 games.
Many fans were calling for his job. However, he was not stressing over potentially losing his managerial position, via The New York Post's Dan Martin.
"I'm not worried about it. I'll be fine no matter what happens," said Boone.
