Jason Day is optimistic about the PGA Tour and LIV Golf merger despite being reportedly rejected by the Saudi circuit. In his recent interview with Code Sports Australia, the Aussie revealed details about his potential deal with the Saudi Circuit.

Over the years, dozens of players have joined LIV Golf. However, Jason Day revealed that he never got an opportunity to negotiate with the circuit as they were concerned about his injuries while signing him and he continued playing on the PGA Tour.

Despite that, the former World No. 1 remains optimistic about the merger between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf. He said, via Golf Digest:

“I’m hoping we join back together because there’s definitely a lot of players on the LIV tour that we miss on the PGA Tour. I’ve always played very central with LIV and just never really got in the politics of it all.”
