Sports analyst Bill Simmons doesn't understand why NFL players drop the ball before getting into the endzone. Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor was the latest NFL player to drop the ball before the endzone.

The ball ended up going through the endzone and forcing a touchback. That proved to be a crucial point of the game as the Denver Broncos rallied to beat the Colts.

Following the error, Simmons said on "The Bill Simmons Podcast" that he doesn't understand why players drop the ball before going into the endzone, and why it continues to happen.
