After registering four wins on the European Tour, Polish professional Adrian Meronk joined LIV Golf ahead of the 2024 season. Meronk's debut season on the tour did not see him win a single event, but the 31-year-old did have some decent outings on the Saudi-backed tour.

Recently, Meronk spoke in length about his decision to join LIV Golf. During a conversation with Gulf News Sport, Meronk said that the location and lesser tournaments were a prime reason behind his decision to join the PIF-backed tour.

Adrian Meronk said (Via NUCLR Golf):

"If l'd played in America, I would have had to base myself there and it would have been so lonely and so miserable, I think… Joining LIV Golf meant I could stay in Dubai, which is a place that l like, and play fewer tournaments, as I was exhausted last year after playing 27 times.. I think it was a great decision for me. It's given me so much life and enjoyment. It's like a rat race on the PGA Tour - everybody is looking out for themselves, and nobody talks to you."
