Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that the crisis at Manchester United is beyond a managerial change as other factors are affecting the club. The Portuguese icon, who can be described as an Old Trafford legend, scored 145 goals and registered 64 assists in 346 games for the Red Devils.
Speaking at the 15th edition of the Globe Soccer Awards, the 39-year-old was asked about Manchester United. He said (via Global Soccer Awards on YouTube):
"I said this a year and a half ago and I'll continue to say it, the problem is not the coaches. I will try to give an example, it's like an aquarium, if there are fish living inside and one of them fall sick and you take him out and fix the problem and put him back in the aquarium, then he'll be sick again. This is the problem of Manchester United, the problem is not only the coach, it's much more than that."
