NFL analyst throws rumors of 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan's exit out the window | Image Source: Getty
At 5-7, the San Francisco 49ers are hurting heading into Week 14's matchup with the Chicago Bears. No Brandon Aiyuk, Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason means they will be short-handed to go up against the Bears who only recently fired Matt Eberflus. However, it appears some NFL fans also want Kyle Shanahan out the door.
With the Niners all but out of the race for the playoffs, NFL fans and analysts have been vocal about Kyle Shanahan's shortcomings this season. However, so far, there have been no reports pertaining to the Niners making any kind of decision on Shanahan's future.
During an appearance on Audacy on Thursday, The Athletic's NFL analyst Ted Nguyen made his feelings clear on rumors around Shanahan's future.
"I think the Kyle Shanahan talk is ridiculous. One bad season and you're thinking of firing (or trading) the head coach? It's ridiculous," Nguyen said on the show.
