Justin Lower got emotional while talking to the media after the third round of the WWT (World Wide Technology) Championship. The American golfer took the lead at the ongoing PGA Tour event and is in contention to win his first Tour event.
After three rounds, he was tied with Nico Echavarria and Carson Young. Following Saturday's round, Lower opened up about his performance and what it means to him if he wins the tournament. He said with tears in his eyes:
"Everything," and then added. "I don't know. I have no idea, honestly. I told myself I'm going to stop doing eventually this in interviews, but I worked really hard in this game. I work really hard at it. Sometimes I think I never would have gotten this far. I've been through a lot in my life, and it's just... I don't know it's just a lot of fun."
