Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc had a fallout on the team radio after the race in Las Vegas. Despite what rumors suggest, Sainz cleared the air on his relationship with Leclerc ahead of the Qatar Grand Prix.
Since the announcement of Lewis Hamilton joining Ferrari in 2025, Sainz's performance has been under the microscope throughout the year, especially against the seven-time champion and his Ferrari teammate Leclerc. Despite the odds, the Spaniard won two races and clinched six podium places throughout the year. However, hard racing with Leclerc in a few races created friction between the teammates.
During the recent race in Las Vegas, Sainz overturned Ferrari's pit strategy, thereby allowing him to undercut Leclerc for a third-place finish. This irked the Monagasque racer, who is currently fighting McLaren's Lando Norris for second place in the Drivers' championship. Leclerc vented his frustration on the team radio after the chequered flag.
