Jared McCain and the Philadelphia 76ers hosted the Indiana Pacers on Friday. The rookie didn’t start as Sixers coach Nick Nurse opened the game with the backcourt combination of Tyrese Maxey and Paul George, while Kelly Oubre Jr. played small forward.
McCain entered the game halfway through the first quarter. He contributed five points, one rebound and one assist but committed two turnovers. Philadelphia trailed 37-31 after the first 12 minutes ended.
The former Duke star played in the second quarter but couldn't add to his output as the 76ers faced a 61-50 deficit at halftime.
