Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman had a fun interaction with New England Sports Network (NESN) analyst and former NHL goalie Andrew Raycroft on air during their game against the New York Islanders.
Raycroft made his debut with the Bruins in 2000. He spent the majority of his 15 seasons in Boston while also playing for the Maple Leafs, Avalanche, Canucks and the Stars. He transitioned into a broadcaster and joined NESN in the offseason to become a rinkside and studio analyst.
Ahead of the game on Wednesday, while Raycroft was reporting back to his colleagues at the NESN studios, Jeremy Swayman started warming up in the rink in front of Raycroft blocking his view of the camera. The 44-year-old immediately understood that his successor in the Bruins jersey was messing with him.
