JJ Watt was impressed by the Detroit Lions' bravado when they went for a fourth down during their Week 13 game against the Green Bay Packers instead of kicking the field goal, which would've given the Packers time to drive for a potential tie or win. In the end, the Lions won 34-31 and clinched a playoff berth in the process.
During Wednesday's appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show", the former NFL defensive end warned said Detroit's gamble might have paid off this time, but the Lions shouldn't take their chances during the playoffs.
"You love it until it bites you in the a**. Nothing fires you up more than your coach believing in the team and when the team executes and accomplishes it. The more that it works, the more confident you get it, the more you love it. But then it's just a matter of if it beats you at one point in the biggest moment."
